Tommy Boy releases the latest from Fannypack. Now I know what the pure dance music fans are thinking... 'Take a big yawn and stretch and move on to something else.' But wait just a minute, this single sounds like 'Old School' Tommy Boy from the 90's. Why? Maybe because Fannypack remakes the House Classic "Nu Nu (Yeah Yeah)" by Lidell Townsell and MTF from the early 90's. Fannypack combines the elements of old school hip-hop and house music to combine a surprisingly great dance track for today. Now although this may not get the spins in huge trendy cities like a New York City, Los Angeles or Chicago I see this doing lots of damage in South Florida and smaller rural cities like my hometown of Rochester, New York as well as other cities like Philly, Atlanta, Dallas and many others. The Original Mix tends to stick more to the old school 90's house version while Friscia and Lamboy takes this track on a tribal trip that may grab the New York City market, while the fun of this track is really in the Double J & Haze Extended Mix. So forget "Cameltoe" and any other Fannypack single you heard up until now. This is the best Fannypack single they've put out and they put a unique little twist on a timeless house classic.
