Fernandez & Musgrove bring us "Directions In Groove" on Pangea, pushing the sounds of techy progressive house even further. Compiling tribal elements and a deep, dark and spooky wash of percussion and synth noises, the tune comes off sounding like something out of a sci-fi murder mystery.

I applaud the guys for an excellent production here with a very clean -sounding tune providing us with everything we could want out of something this dark. They even included a nice little horn solo in the middle. As if this weren't enough, they bring in some robotic voices that carry us out of the break down back into this extremely well put-together groove.

On the flip, the Everydaydowners bring us a nice progressive breaks rendition as they bump the tempo and drag over all of the wonderful elements from the original.

A very tough bassline works nicely with a wash of melody and drums on top. This mix is nowhere near as clean and powerful as the original, but that definitely won't decrease the value of this record.
