I couldn't imagine starting a G&D review without just saying "WOW." This tune's another large notch in their successful belt as this one's a few weeks from being released and has already seen time on the decks of all the industry heavyweights. This one's only the beginning for Josh and Dave's new imprint Organized Nature and they are kicking things off properly.
A. Arcadia (Original Mix)
This one takes elements of progressive, electro, house, acid, techno and so many other genres and intelligently meshes them together to make what I would call the perfect dancefloor tune. As always, we get virtually perfect production with clean arrangements, bringing us energy and excitement at just the right times. Halfway through the tune we find things dropping out as we marinate on one of the classic anthemic G&D freeforms, leading straight into a progressive build and then to the end on a solid compilation of beats, bass, and melody.
This is one of those tunes that will have you focusing less on what's going on in the track and more on the energy coming out of the speakers.
AA. Arcadia (Ozgur Can Remix)
This mix includes many of the outstanding elements as the original while changing things up just a bit. This one gets a bit grimier, both instrumentally and in the arrangement. Driving four-by-four under a very aggressive acid-line and supporting bassline make this one irresistible. There's a lot of drive here keeping people on the dancefloor and out of the corners. This is one of those no b/s, shut up and dance tunes that will definitely get things moving on those stubborn crowds. This one will be in the crate for a while.
