There is just something seductive about this single that gets me going in the morning. Although this single has been out for a while on Import it has finally made its way stateside. This single is a combination of 80’s new wave; punk, pop, rock and Electro all rolled into one hell of a dance single. If just hearing the Original isn’t enough, then check out the slew of Remixes from a star-studded cast. Besides the Original Mix there is also a Chill Mix floating around although I haven’t seen it on the Domestic Version yet. Peter Rauhofer nails two awesome and different Mixes with his take on NYC and an UK flavor. Ewan’s Stripped Down Mix is a little more on the Dub tip. The Calderone & Suryanta Mix are a wicked Tribal Sound that takes the energy up another notch. Rowan’s Remix is just a little so-so to me. Like it’s just there. But the best mix for me is the Benny Benassi Sfaction Extended Mix. After the first listen I wasn’t impressed as he used his signature electric sound. I was getting tired of that sound. Then I gave it a 2nd listen and then realized how awesome it was and how great he used the vocal with the breakdown and build up.
So overall, you have enough Remixes to choose from that would satisfy an Amish family. This will be a steady jam all summer long.
