The latest installment of Star 69's successful New York Club Anthems series is mixed by rising star Hector Fonseca and it is filled to the rim with the label's signature underground, tribal, and progressive sounds.

Fonseca claims his spot as a superstar-in-the-making by including his fabulous remix of Suzanne Palmer's "Eye Can See U" in the compilation. That remix is one that would easily translate from cheesy circuit party to a full-fledged NYC underground event – not an easy task.

Those who desire big-room diva anthems need to look no further than Star 69 head honcho Peter Rauhofer's remix of Offer Nissim's "Happy People" or the new 2008 remix of the classic "Do It Properly" courtesy of Kobbe. In my opinion though, the most interesting tracks are those that are a little more non-descript and progressive. Prok & Fitch's mix of "Diva" is the perfect example; there are just enough vocals to mouth along to on the dance floor and a fierce beat to keep you locked in place there. It's the perfect opening track for this incredible compilation.

Released November 18, 2008 on Star 69 Records.
