Iio already has made a name for themselves with hit singles "Rapture," "At The End," and "Smooth" and now they are back with their 4th single from their finally released album debut "Poetica." This single features the trademark style of Iio but has armed itself with an army of mixes and remixes to make sure that nobody with any style was left hanging. Iio is the standard of what dance music should be, made for the club with hypnotic stunning melodies by Nadia and always great production by Markus Moser. Every single Iio has released has been embraced by some of the biggest and finest DJ's ever to span the globe. It has drawn the attention and request of some of the biggest Remixers ever to make their mark on the dance music community and although I don't know the members of Iio personally, I have heard that their reputation and communication with the people in the industry is well-deserved and respected. Some of us DJs consider it an honor to play an Iio record. I mean after all, we can all remember where we were the first time we heard "Rapture."
It has been from that point forward that has made Iio into what they are today and even though the new single is called "Runaway," no one will be running anywhere except to the dance floors, airwaves and record stores. This hits you as solid as ever and as I mentioned earlier there army of mixes and remixes. Lets break it down. The Iio single comes with new CD singles so you need both of them otherwise you are doing a disservice to yourself and your crowd. The 1st CD Single contains the Original Mix, The Ford Remix Radio Edit, The Ford Remix, on which he turns in a beautiful trance masterpiece; his finest work to date. The CD single also includes the Scotty Marz Buzz Fiend Mix, Frank Bailey Remix, Dirty German Goes Dallas Vox Remix and the Original Serenity Mix. The 2nd CD Single includes the Kelly D Remix, Evolved Remix, Austin Leeds vs. Sineswieper Remix, another stunning Ford Breaks Remix, the Dirty German Did Dallas Hazed Dub and to top it off this single offers a nice chill mix of there previous single "Smooth" with the Bailey's Cream Mix. With the release of their full length album "Poetica" right around the corner Iio is making their mark with beauty and grace.
