Paul McCartney's "Silly Love Songs" riff gets almost everyone's attention when Jen Cuneta's new track "Come Rain Come Shine" plays. Here, the extended mix and the radio mix are included. Cuneta's voice is great in a blue-eyed soul kind of way. This is an incredible hooky song here, especially with McCartney's music in the mix. If you're like me, initially, you want to hear the vocals that originally went with the music. After a few listens, however, Cuneta's vocals and lyrics prove to be good, and the retro-sampling simply adds a warm and fuzzy effect. Although there are other, harder mixes of this song out- you really can't do much better than the original because it massages the old McCartney riffs so well. I think they big idea of this track is the sample, and the harder mixes just don't focus on the samples. This is a feel good, breezy house number bound to get you hummin'.
