After her strong debut release of 'How Can I Be Falling' in 2005, Jennifer Green returns in 2006 with a new track written and produced by Mike Rizzo, 'We're Not Alone.'

At just the tender age of eighteen, this singer is earning the respect of her peers – and what peers they are; Dave Aude, Peter Presta, Valentin, Josh Harris, Danny Tsettos and of course, Mike Rizzo. On this sophomore single, only Mike Rizzo and Peter Presta are making a return appearance. Also enlisted are the talents of Valentin and Josh Harris, both of who are continuing to have their remixes chart on a regular basis – a smart move by her management.

Remixer Valentin has a proven recipe for success which he continues here – a strong, high energy production over a rapid bassline. The beat drops hard, with synths slithering in and out and around you – strong build-ups come right at you next and some very interesting use of keyboards that some listeners will like, while others may find annoying.

The Peter Presta Big USA Mix starts off with promise – with a chugging and waist-friendly bassline, but the drop comes and you stand in dead air for too long. When the mix takes off again, once more it has potential, because it has sass and is bouncing of the bass, but then we lose that special touch of this remix and all of the sudden we are left with a production that sounds awfully similar to his mix for Jacinta 'Sunshine.' From here, it goes south, as the production suddenly overshadows the singer and Jennifer Green's vocals seem to have gotten lost underneath Presta's production and the two don't seem in sync any longer.

Making its debut on ThriveMix01, the Josh Harris Club Mix delivers his widely recognized rock-tinged, guitar-laced club stomper that many (myself included), enjoy. Have no doubt – if you liked his recent Headbangers Club Mix for Tim Rex ft. Veronica 'Relentless (Just A Game)' – you will love the similar structure infused throughout this mix.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, this song was both written and produced by Mike Rizzo, and he also delivered a fantastic remix – the Global Factory Club Mix. It is obvious that this song was a labor of love for Mike Rizzo – with an intense bassline and drums that ricochet off the background, the listener is immediately drawn in. Next to arrive – the sinister current of synths, making you want to ride the wave of production bliss. The keyboard stabs, the vocal drops, the moody feel are perfect. Rizzo captured it all.

Some producers are meant to work with singers. Tony Moran is meant to work with Deborah Cooper. Rosabel and Jeanie Tracy? Of course. The new duo that makes sense is Mike Rizzo and Jennifer Green – take a listen.
