Apparently the 3rd single from model/actress/dancer Jill Criscuolo, "My Life" is a mid-energy dance cut with a synth pop-ish keyboard and simple quarter note bassline. Singing since she was 13, Jill's vocal here is decent-- a girl-pop vocal a la Tiffany or Britney.
The Radio mix is a radio edit of the Club mix. The Instrumental mix is hardly that as it just seems to drop the verses, while the Acapella version maintains the vocal effects. The song frays a bit in the bridge due to some odd vocal ideas and pitch issues. The single's not particularly interesting melody does grow on you a bit listening to the longer Club mix.
Jill's site mentions that her debut CD is a vibrant mix of pop, rock, and dance but does not list a full album (which I'd be interested to hear) in her Discography. Further, there is no way to listen to other two singles on her site-- odd for someone going for a record deal.
Including a couple more completely different (and stronger) remixes of this single would have helped it be more appealing to radio/clubs. "My Life" pans out as an average release from an artist that needs a bit more buffeting in production to avoid a quick slide into anonymity or the bargain bin.
