Monika Kruse - On the Road 3

Terminal M
The third installment of the "On The Road" series finds Monika Kurse again at the controls (she also mixed Volume 1, with Miss Kittin mixing Volume 2) of the Terminal M ship. With a variety of tracks from both established producers (Josh Wink and Phil Kieran to name a few) and up-and-coming talents (Joris Voorn, Droid Inc and Mathew Johnson), this set is divided into two distinct feelings (Before - for prime time techno and After - for more minimal, laid back beats) and is a must addition to the collection of any true techno fan.

On disc one, Ms. Kruse lays down a effortless, flowing mix that takes the listener from smooth, musical techno ("Self Reflection" by Pascal FEOS) and tripped-out affairs ("Question 11" by Marco Carola) through peak hour blazers ("TM" by Eric Sneo and "Just A Dance" by Len Faki) and filtered smokers ("The World" by Johannes Heil). Disc two is left to more experimental and left-of-center tracks, including the superb ("Graphit" by 2 Dollar Egg and "Jack to Jack" by Panash to name a few). Deep and sexy, hard and bangin', it is honestly difficult to decided which mix I like better. Very nice stuff.
