This maxi-CD single contains seven remixes that include a Lenny B club mix, The Grooveoholics dub mix, an Electro remix, Rock N' Roll mix, and a radio edit as well as a piano and string version. Also, as an added bonus, they included the music video of "I'm Listening."
This Atlanta-based married couple's song is already climbing up the Billboard Dance/Hot Club Play Chart. This single will also follow their CD called "In The Stars" with a release date of June 20, 2006. First, I have to note "I'm Listening" has more of a Euro Pop edge which is a bit different from their past singles, which have had more of a lounge/chill house sound.
The Lenny B mix is the standout mix for me on this single, and I imagine that it will be the choice for radio and DJs, too. Lenny B played up on the melodic vocals and gave it an Everything But The Girl feel. The GrooveOholics dub has a breakbeat/electro style to it which I think is an interesting blend. The Electro mix to me sounded more trance with a just a hint of electro, and I would pick this as an alternate mix to the Lenny B.
I'm eager to hear more from them in the future.
