Mother Inc.'s debut album is a fun combination of pop culture parodies and clever lyrics designed for all the dearest mommies and fun-loving divas. Produced by Mike Skinner and Spencer Product of Black Moustache, Mother Inc.'s music is an entertaining balance of disco, dance, and punk rock all smashed into a Fendi diaper (Fendi supported and presented this debut album for Mother Inc.).
Yvonne Force Villareal and Sandra Hamburg are the unconventional mommies behind Mother Inc. They have the wonderful ability to satirically drone on and on in that fun 80's T'Pau way throughout the album. They also make no apologies for thrashing out skanky lyrics about taboo subjects such as eating disorders, the fashion industry, motherhood in New York, and plastic surgery.

Yvonne and Sandra are quite a unique pair. Sandra is a photographer at Vogue and Yvonne is an art consultant. Their music is most definitely a reflection of the fabulous and full lives that they have led as artists and mothers. Mothers? Yes, Yvonne and Sandra do see a distinct irony in their lives now. So, they've written songs about their fashionable life and pushing strollers down the runway. They're both still bohemians, but as the punk ballad "Soccer Mom" reflects, they still "drink Tanqueray on the way to PTA."
Some listeners may think that it's wrong to laugh at songs about eating disorders and laxative abuse, but Mother Inc. subsequently gives the finger to all those overdone Lifetime Original Movie subjects. To all the hip mommies out there, Mother Inc. calls, screams, and farts out to you all. Go slap on your pre-motherhood sluttiest LBD and run to the nearest dance club. Don't forget to call a sitter.
