Following last year's dance radio smash "How Did You Know," Mynt releases their first full-length album, "Still Not Sorry," featuring a slew of dance tracks primed for radio.

The disc is wise to open with "How Did You Know," as it is one of the most recognizable dance hits of the past few years thanks in part to heavy rotation on stations like New York's WKTU. It also doesn't hurt to kick things off because it is definitely the strongest single on the disc. The pumping synthline, the catchy hook, and Kim Sozzi's on-point vocals make the track a surefire sizzler. Another hot track featuring Sozzi's vocals is "Stay" which is less reserved than the previous track, but nevertheless packs a punch and solidifies the winning combination of Mynt and Sozzi. We see a change of pace both in vocalist and style on the track "Still Not Sorry," featuring Marisol. The track sounds like an 80s girl rock group with an electro beat, but surprisingly it works. The guitar surrounds Marisol's vocals with fierce conviction and surefire energy. Another dance-rock track that doesn't work quite as well is the hip-hop rock track "Player Haters."

It features street-talking male vocals over a dance-rock beat and, with all of these styles coming together, misses the mark big time. Not only does it slow down the pace of the record, but it is just out of place. Thankfully, Mynt recovers nicely with the next cut, "You're the Only One." It features a retro riff with a gorgeous male vocal longing for his "only one." This disc clearly hits a high note at this point. For the remainder of the disc, Mynt treats the listener to more of its signature pop-dance sound. "Take Me Home" and "Back in Love" sound like something Britney Spears might sing, and although they are definitely dance tracks, the pop sound is very evident. There are also influences of latin music as featured in "Kiss Me." The disc concludes with remixes of "Stay" and "Still Not Sorry."

"Still Not Sorry" is a hodgepodge of dance music filled with some great radio-ready dance tracks, but on the whole it misses the mark by trying to blend too many different styles of music.
