Allow me to paint a picture for you. Close your eyes and imagine 85 degree weather, not a cloud in the sky, sun blaring, and the sound of clear blue South Beach water crashing against the sand. The newest mixed album from the highly respected OM label entitled Miami sets the background music. It's sexy deep groovy House music. Minneapolis native Charlie Erickson aka Chuck Love starts the mix off with his infectious track 'Livin' at Night'. It sets an undeniably sexy tone for the rest of the mix. Arguably one of the hottest producers in House music right now, Justin Martin's remix of Colette's 'Didn't mean to Turn You On' will have people jumping on the dance floor. Montreal native Fred Everything makes a few appearances on the album. A funky remix of Iz and Diz 'Magnificent' will no doubt having you singing right along. Next up is Fred's own production Studio- C, imagine a funky, rhythmic track; one of my personal favorites on the mix. Rounding the mix off we have a total smasher from Samantha James- 'Rise' with remix duties by ROCAsound. If you're looking for a mix to put on repeat in your play list, OM- Miami will do just that.
