When DJ Danny-C isn't playing at some hot spot in Germany, he's working with his musical partner Mark Carpentier on their project Paris Avenue. "I Want You" features Robin One on vocals and is an R&B inspired house track with soulful male vocals. You can hear the German techno influence in the blippy and machine-sounding synths. Kinda like Roman Flugel all cleaned up and put into a vocal pop elixir.
The Original extended features R&B-styled vocals and tight electronic beats, reminding me a little of the bassline from Sono "Keep Control." The Stellar Project mix is pretty with guitar pickings and giddy with birdlike synths, and pretty cute- if a touch goofy. Then again, much of German techno is goofy. Chalk this one up as being a commercial crossover dance track inspired by the underground techno/house scene. A pop love/lust track.
