Two tracks, a Club Mix and a Dub Mix, are on this single from Yell House. The first, vocal, mix features a hard 70's filter sound with a tasty piano break and obscure vocal sample from GQ. There's a nice summerlike feel on the Club Mix but the real deal- the big room sound- is on the Dub track. The vocal sample is still there but takes a backseat to a big kick and bassline. You could call it hard house but it also has a tight tech house sound. The track is straight ahead power, and breaks a few times into a funky breakbeat before blasting back into the house groove. Playmaker gets the job done in a simple, hard style approach- injecting a soul feel throughout the track. Solid and grooving. They have connections to Sondos Records here in the US (one of my favorite labels if you like Sondos tracks, you'll dig this as well. _z_dancemusic_z_);
