With the third season of Queer as Folk launching on Showtime, the Nervous label releases a compilation CD of their music that has provided a soundtrack to the past few seasons. Throughout the first season, you heard Pepper Mashay commanded that you "Dive in the Pool" in nearly episode. From Kim English's empowering "Everyday" to WideLife's diva dissing radio hit "I Don't Want You," the songs you heard at Babylon, Woody's, or even at the Liberty Diner sound great on your stereo as you get warmed up to watch this week's episode. I personally love the "60 minutes of hard, pumping beats" but think it might have been a bit better if it had been beat-mixed by the circuit-flavored DJ of the moment.
Pros:
the best vocal tracks
many songs hard to find
Cons:
short edits
unmixed
