The "S-Man" is back with a brand new album. This Grammy winning DJ is an international sensation, and I feel honored to be able to write a review for his new CD. This album has 11 songs on it and, right from the get go with the international hit "Turn On The Music," it is sure to get your energy up.
This album has a great mix of musical styles from strong male-driven vocals to melodic female masterpieces. There are a few tracks that have a Latin influence, as well as some that are laid back and loungey. There is definitely a flow to the CD, it's one of those that you just put it in your player and let it play its entirety. One of my more favorite songs is "Lost." I love its emotional vocals and its excerpts from a track he did many years ago for a group called Box Office. "Not Enough" is another favorite, and I also like "Free," which has lots of emotion with loads of stringed instrument melodies. There is also a collaboration with the singer/ songwriter, and if my info is correct, 13-time Grammy winner Alejandro Sanz with "I'm Yours," whose personal album is the best selling album in Spain of all time.
Roger Sanchez has always put out the hits, whether his own production or the many remixes he's done. This album is a must for your dance music collection!
