Here, folks, is the first single from the Scissor Sisters' new album "Ta-Dah." Good news for the sisterhood- it's fantastic! Huge success on a first release often cripples the creative mind of the artist, but here there's no sign the Sisters have lost an ounce of original brilliance. The instantly catchy "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" is danceable right out of the box. A groovy mid-tempo bounce and great songwriting keep this one on repeat mode. The Scissor Sisters have always been compared, even mistaken for, Elton John, so it's pretty exciting to see Elton John credited with songwriting and piano for this single! It's definitely a match made in heaven and a sublime pleasure to hear. There are more remixes, singles, picture discs, and a tour to come; but what you need to know right now is the Scissor Sisters have finally released their second album, and from the sound of the lead single, it's a successful return for our beloved Sisters. High marks because I'm a huge fan already, and am thrilled no end to see the Sisters back for more fun.
