Yes indeed, this is a cover of Sade's "No Ordinary Love." Sherrie Lee's vocals capture Sade's smoky, sultry style very convincingly, and fans of the original (who also enjoy remakes) will be pleased to see the integrity of the original has been left intact. All of the remixes fall into the progressive/trance category.
The Pete van Check club mix chuggs along with a clean sound, swirling synth pads and a plucky arpeggiated riff atop a bouncing bassline; parts of the music are reminiscent of the Energy 52 sound in the late 90s; tasteful and lush. The Kyau vs Albert mix is harder with its kick drum brought to the front along with a big bassline, though the swirls of synths and ambient drops are still there. Eventually this mix drops and builds into a harder overall sound. With the hardness there is still a gentle touch in the mix, complementing the melancholy sentiment of the vocals and lyrics.
