This remixed single is from Simply Red's new full-length release, Simplified- which mainly features an acoustic oriented collection of songs. The extensive list of remixers are Roger Sanchez, Love to Infinity, Kurtis Mantronik, Motivo and Lee Cabrera. Love to Infinity's Sunset mix is relatively light and breezy with its airy piano and breezy guitar strums. Their other remix, the club mix, is harder and more tribal with Latin rhythms and melodies brought to the front. Each mix fully features the vocals. The Mantronik remix hits a little harder with a filtered electrohouse style. Motivo's Hi-Electro remix accents the playful elements of the original and features Latin elements along with full vocals. Lee Cabrera's Lower East Side Dub sticks to the electrohouse feel yet ditches the full vocals in favor of electronic blips, bleeps and assorted tricks for a quirky dub adventure. Finally, it's the Roger Sanchez remixes that are my favorite of the bunch. The low end has a good, simple bounce and the track has an overall old school camp house vibe. Roger's Dirty dub explores the groove while Roger's Dirty Sanchez mix features vocals.
