Slinkee Minx - Someday

Slinkee Minx first hit the radar with their massive cover of Belinda Carlisle's evergreen "Summer Rain" and this Aussie girl-group should keep their hit streak going with their latest charming Pop-Dance confection. The Radio Edit rides a surging Electro vibe that compares favorably to the latest Madonna singles with its heavily mechanized beats gliding into a blissfully synth-laden chorus, while the Mike Felks Club Mix adds a rubbery new bassline yet also strips the track down into an admittedly, and unfortunately, less-energetic reworking. Happily enough though, the Moustache D-Day Mix brings things back to the popped-up Electro style by adding their pulsing retro-New Wave beats and some vocal echoes to the song that suit the track beautifully. Solid work from the Slinkee Minx girls that bodes will for their forthcoming album debut.
