Star 69 Entertainment burst onto the scene a few years back with an unstoppable flurry of underground and mainstream hits that few other independent labels have been able to match. Celeda’s anthematic UNDERGROUND and LET THE MUSIC USE YOU UP, Ceevox with MY IMAGINATION, and most recently with updated mixes of RELEASE ME by Industry; all are testaments to Star 69’s growing fanbase. Headed up by Grammy award-winning DJ and producer Peter Rauhofer, this is their fourth dive into their hugely popular EXTENDED MIXES series.

A wonderful mix of tribal oriented, somewhat progressive house tunes with many more vocals than one would expect is the best way to describe this set - complete with unreleased remixes that have been making clubgoers in New York salivate on a weekly basis.

Retro flashbacks abound with 2004 mixes of Peter Rauhofer’s UNIQUE and THE UNDERGROUND are a welcome addition to the mix, as well as new productions from Eday, Airmale, and Stephan Grodin. Vocal masterpiece SEARCHING by Offer Nissim ft. Maya should also make most everyone happy. But it’s an unreleased dub of APPRECIATE ME that takes the cake here.

A hard, stabbing synth line backed with rumbling bass and percussion, and a build that will leave you speechless moves this track along with maximum velocity! You MUST hear this, words do not describe!
