Whether in the form of exuberantly buoyant tracks like Love Wont Let You Down and Let The Stars Shine or the gently shuffling Where Our Love Grows and Happy Ending, this CD showcases some of the finest recent examples of downtempo dance music and slows down even further when unleashing gorgeous ballads like When The Laughter Is Over and From My Window.
Though lead singer Corinne Drewerys creamy vocals are the highlight of most of the songs, the album also features sunny samba-flavored instrumentals like Caipirinha and Certain Shades of Limelight that wouldnt sound out of place on an Esquivel album with their arching choral scatting and brassy arrangements as well as more delicately paced instrumentals like the glistening Well Find A Place.
