NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN - Jhoole Jhoole Lal (Tabla Mix) - The inimitable vocals of the late great Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan are next on the list to be heard. Ali Khan's soaring vocal range and lightning fast chants have made him a household name in many a home indeed.

EL BIHALEE - Returning Home - With massive rolling violin arrangements and a cinematic quality, the epic syle of this song is driven by the broken beat beneath it.

DONNA DE LORY - Om Nama Shivaya - Pop music for the masses, this composition was obviously geared for the radio with its catchy hook and progressive American melody.

FATEH - Drifting Clouds - Another extremely cinematic composition and arrangement, this single moves as the title implies. It drifts along as the strings and violins climb with the synth pads.

TJ REHMI - You Are We Am I (Red Mix) - Breaking back down with a driving tabla beat, this minimal groove provides some nice instrumentation; the acoustic guitar solo is hot like the Sahara sands.

MARS LASAR - Eastern Dawn - This composition brings about imagery of a sunrise sweeping over the ocean as the waves sweep the beach. Even more minimal than the previous track, Eastern Dawn winds the compilation down to a slur.

GOVINDA - Matter - Out of nowhere, a funky breakbeat accompanied with haunting vocals comes in and forces the listener to snap out of the dreamlike state they have been experiencing - only to find that the dream is real.

Overall, the compilation is an excellent example of Arabic and South Asian influenced music as a whole, and it is this influence that will continue to drive humanity through the ages.
