It is so refreshing when you come across a trance compilation series that continues to put out great sets, because more times than not you tend to be disappointed by the compilations that most labels put out. For me, though, there has been one series that continues to impress with each release they put out and the great collections of music represented on each set. From the popular Tunnel Trance series in Germany comes the third installment of the Tunnel Trance America series. Tunnel Trance Force America 3 is another flawless mix of euphoric trance with a great mix of vocal and instrumental trance by some of the best artists in the genre like ATB and Blank & Jones, with vocals by such artists as Tiff Lacey. This third release in this series is again mixed by DJ Dean who raises his game when it comes to this series.

On this third set we see some very noteworthy club hits and a couple of amazing remixes. Even though I believe every track on this CD is worthy of a listen, the absolute standout track on this CD is the Martin Roth remix of Blank and Jones' "Catch." The Kosheen remake is outstanding female vocal trance at its best and the remix just gives it this amazing vibe that you wish would never end. DJ Dean definitely starts this set right with this track and the Dub mix of "Summer Rain" by the always amazing ATB. Speaking of Martin Roth, another remix of his on this set is of Talla 2XLC's "Carry Me" which is another airy vocal trance that builds with such excitement and atmospheric beauty. Some other great tracks are Cosmic Gate's "Should've Known" with absolutely beautiful vocals by Tiff Lacey and Ron Van Den Beuken's "Find the Way" which represents another outstanding female vocal trance track.

As far as just purely instrumental tracks, the Braveheart 2006 remix of "For the Love of a Princess" by Sakin and Friends reigns supreme with its mid-track breakdown that features the music from Braveheart while giving it that hands-in-the-air anthem feel that elevates it to high-quality club trance. The weakest track on this set, though, happens to be a solely instrumental track and it's a reworking of Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" from The Real Booty Babes on Wild Nights Vol.5. This version completely leaves the vocals out and becomes more of an aggressive trance track which is somewhat better than the popular Nevins remix but at just 40 seconds on this set, it loses some of its appeal and just becomes a build-up track for Patrick Bunton's "Listen." Other than that one hiccup, the rest of the tracks are a perfect combination for the flow of this set.

As I have said before with the other volumes in this series, Tunnel Trance Force America 3 is another amazing compilation mix that takes some already amazing remixes and trance tracks and flows them together in one long set that could best some of the better DJ sets at the top clubs around the world. DJ Dean proves again he is worthy of helming this series and definitely showcases some of the best trance tracks out there today. If you are looking for a CD that recreates that intense club vibe and sound, then definitely check out Tunnel Trance Force America 3 and the other volumes in this series.
