This CD is a politically charged, patriotic compilation showcasing amazing
talent across several genres. Much of the compilation is rough, abrasive,
and downright grimy. This dirtier sound helps purvey the message that a good
chunk of these songs carry. While several songs speak out against an
unrepresentative establishment, others defend a wonderfully patriotic
feeling. While this may not go over well with some, it is presented in a
fairly intellectual fashion. On this album you will find true-to-form
Hip-Hop, bringing an old school sound with fresh lyrical styling. You will
also find cutting edge Breakbeat, House, Progressive, and Drum and Bass.
In creating this review, I have listened to this album nearly 20 times, and
it still sounds amazingly fresh. Many thanks to Dieselboy, Kaos, Mr. Lif,
Josh Wink, Adam Freeland, Tom Middleton, The Perceptionists, D:Fuse, Central
Services, Junior Sanchez, Hangar 18, Christopher Lawrence, and RJD2 for the
songs on this compilation!
