Charice performs Pyramid and I Will Survive at the Keep on Dancin Party

Charice Pempengco, known in the US as Charice, sang her heart out at the Keep on Dancin Party. The Filipina star is petite in stature but has a large voice as evidenced when she belted out her Billboard Club Chart hit "Pyramid" and a powerful rendition of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive." The party featured the music of the Paradise Garage and benefited AREA, GMHC and LIFEbeat. Many of the partygoers were from the Paradise Garage days, so at first they were unsure of the new artist. Once Charice started singing, she won everyone over. It's no wonder that she has gained support from Ellen and Oprah.
