Like chocolate and peanut butter, Martin Solveig and Dragonette are two great artists that sound great together, as we learned from their collaboration "Boys and Girls" a few years ago. The new single "Hello" is a continuation of the development of the sound - mixing electro, rock and pop with some new glitch elements seemingly inspired by Diplo and Switch. The mixture (excuse the pun) is quite fresh and definitely seems primed for a major international crossover. Apparently the new album is going to have a string of videos telling a story (a la Basshunter), with this first video setting up the story as a tennis match between Martin and Bob Sinclar. Perfectly timed for Wimbledon, the video has the subtle and quirky humor that Martin brings to all his videos.
