Due out on October 31st, "Champagne Lemonade" is the first single from Essex-born Ed Drewett, apparently Britain's answer to Mike Posner. The handsome devil stands by his financial status as he gets over the woman who chose the rich guy's champagne over his own poor lemonade. And he does it over the best pop-goes-trance-goes-grime-goes-back-to-pop beats in a long time. Folks may know Drewett from Professor Green's hit "I Need You Tonight", but then again maybe not. Check it out regardless. If "Champagne Lemonade" is just the type of track for your sets but is regrettably too short, Manhattan Clique has solved this dilemma with a mix that stays relatively true to the original while increasing the "chunk" in the beats. It may not stick around long but damn we'll be enjoying this one. Thanks Ed.
