Featuring an alluring combination of alien sensuality, infectious grooves, and a catchy vocal delivery, Ruby Goe steps up with "Get On It". She almost seems poised to take Kelis' spot in the world of electronica, the video a dizzying collection of liquid imagery and casual party scenes (Ruby begins the video covered in black paint) semi-reminiscent of Kelis' "Acapella". Musically speaking, "Get On It" is more a combination of MIA and the Sugababes, in the best possible way. The official remix by Arveene & MiSK causes the track to lose a lot of it's charm but does allow it to get mixed into some sets. "Get On It" is definitely on the edge of blowing up so be patient, more mixes are definitely going to start popping up.
