Ironically, another one of the highlights for the album is the "bonus track" which is a remix of "Believe," culled from the material of his debut album and re-administered here in a more club-friendly dose. Without his signature falsetto, Walker nails the execution of the lyric to ecstatic perfection as he cries "when your destination is the farthest star, remember how you get there defines just who you are. Here's you golden moment, here's your chance to shine, and cast a bright reflection that echoes through all time." Closing the album with a true sense of recovery and optimism, it is a staunch reminder that it should have been a single on the first round, and still deserves the opportunity to harness that kind of attention. JVM take note…you are sitting on the kind of track that the music industry needs in this day when things look bleak and hopeless, the timing couldn't be better to make this a hit.

Not every track on the album heads down that traditional if not sometimes predictable "Vasquez tribal path." There is definitely an assortment of material here that is worth investigation. From the minimal electro vibes of "Watch Me Dance," to the deeply soulful rendition of the Quentin Harris production "Superstar," another track penned by Greg Brown (who coincidentally co-wrote some of Jason's bigger hits from his debut) that would make Usher want to re-record his Confessions album to compete, this album without question proves that Jason Walker truly is "flexible." Completed in a record two-month period, Flexible is strong and proves that Jason is so much more than a pretty face and an unstoppable personality, but a genre-defying voice whose unique quality finds a comfortable spot in any style of music.
