Ron Perkov is a male singer who has been splashing around in the dance music waters for several years now. Though many folks have undoubtedly heard his music and have seen him perform live, he has yet to make a significant dent on the charts. That is all about to change with his new single "Live Luv Dance." With mixes and production by Tony Moran and Ray Roc, this song is destined to become a circuit favorite as well as a summer smash.
Tony Moran's Full Mix is exactly the kind of mix a song of this nature needs. It's so uplifting and fun, it will easily get the floor moving. From the first sounds of the chugging beats and the pounding drums, you can tell this is a classic Moran remix. The chorus is catchy and will get stuck in your head quickly. Lyrically, the song is about just having a good time and giving yourself up to the music. With bouncy synthesizers and divas wailing in the background, there is no way you will be able to resist the pull of this song. Tony Moran has been on a hot streak lately and this mix only continues that. If you are looking for something not as big room-sounding, check out the mix from Ray Roc. His Club Mix is not heavy on the pounding bass or drums and is more reliant on a fun synth hook and a jazzy horn section. More of a filtered house mix than anything else, this remix is good, but loses a bit of the energy brought in by Tony's mix. It also tends to not build up into anything. It stays at a steady pace for the whole song, no peaks or valleys here. This sometimes tends to making the track feel a bit dull, though the horns are used enough to save it from total monotony. This version would be more appropriate at an earlier time slot in your set, but is definitely worth a listen nonetheless.
Ron Perkov is finally going to have the big hit he's been waiting for with "Live Luv Dance." With an anthemic mix by Tony Moran and a cute filtered treatment from Ray Roc, this song will be everywhere this summer. From gay pride festivals to dance floors to tea dances, we will all be heeding the call to simple live, love and of course, dance!
